First, apply the thermal grease evenly on the CPU, then place the heat sink base horizontally on the CPU. Finally, fasten the buckles on both sides of the heat sink to the corresponding buckles on the fixed bracket.

The way the heatsink is installed on the AMD platform is similar to the one installed on the Intel platform. The only difference is that the AMD platform does not require a mounting bracket.
